Psalms 32 : 11,6
Chapter 32

Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous; And shout for joy, all you upright in heart! |

For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him. |
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Our Lord God, Savior, and King of us all, Jesus Christ, the Living Son of God to whom be glory forever.

Chapter 22

Now there was also a dispute among them, as to which of them should be considered the greatest. |

And He said to them, "The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those who exercise authority over them are called "benefactors.' |

But not so among you; on the contrary, he who is greatest among you, let him be as the younger, and he who governs as he who serves. |
| 27 |
For who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet I am among you as the One who serves. |
| 28 |
"But you are those who have continued with Me in My trials. |
| 29 |
And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me, |
| 30 |
that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel." |
And Glory be to God forever.

Matthew 25 : 14 - 23
Chapter 25

"For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. |

And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. |

Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. |
| 17 |
And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. |

But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord's money. |

After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them. |

"So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, "Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.' |

His lord said to him, "Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.' |

Hebrews 13 : 7 - 25
Chapter 13

Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct. |

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. |

Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them. |

We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat. |
| 11 |
For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp. |
| 12 |
Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. |

Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach. |

For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come. |

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. |

But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. |

Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. |

Pray for us; for we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably. |

But I especially urge you to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner. |

Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, |

make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. |

The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed: |

Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; |

nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock; |

and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away. |
| 5 |
Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." |

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, |

casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. |

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. |

Mark 9 : 33 - 41

Then He came to Capernaum. And when He was in the house He asked them, "What was it you disputed among yourselves on the road?" |

But they kept silent, for on the road they had disputed among themselves who would be the greatest. |

And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, "If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all." |

Then He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. And when He had taken him in His arms, He said to them, |
| 37 |
"Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me." |
| 38 |
Now John answered Him, saying, "Teacher, we saw someone who does not follow us casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow us." |
| 39 |
But Jesus said, "Do not forbid him, for no one who works a miracle in My name can soon afterward speak evil of Me. |
| 40 |
For he who is not against us is on our side. |
| 41 |
For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward. |
